24h Palestine

24hrs/Palestine is a global live radio event to explore the different practices implemented in every corner of the world in support of the Palestinian people, with the aim of hearing from people all over the world about the necessities of solidarity and anti-colonial alliances.

“24 hours live Palestine” is conceived as a global media action, a proof that international solidarity can have a common echo through an infrastructure set up from below. In other words, a network of physical locations, independent media (mainly radio) and groups of individuals has been set up based on common support for the Palestinian people and the desire of all to be able to open up a space to share and make heard the means deployed by different groups in their respective locations.

A team of researchers, activists and artists are organizing a 24-hour global live radio event to explore the different practices implemented in every corner of the world in support of the Palestinian people, and with the aim of hearing from people all over the world about the necessities/possibilities of solidarity and anti-colonial alliances. Various organisations who may be responding to the call include : Radio Alhara, Radio Flouka, Radio Blackout, The Mosaic Rooms (London, England), Libreria Proyeccion (Santiago, Chili), La Parole Errante (Montreuil, France), Station of Commons, and perhaps, Chimurenga (Cape Town). And other individuals working on establishing hosting sites in Beirut, Mayotte, La Réunion and Cairo.
